  • Posted by: Pambos Kyriacou

The Council decided to renew the list of persons, groups and entities subject to restrictive measures with a view to combatting terrorism, delisting one deceased person and maintaining the rest unchanged.

There are currently 14 persons and 22 groups and entities subject to the restrictive measures in force, which consist of the freezing of funds and other financial assets or economic resources in EU member states. It is also prohibited for EU operators to make funds and economic resources available to those listed.

The Council also decided to extend the duration of the humanitarian exceptions until 22 February 2027.
