European Commission Launches Helpdesk to Support Sanctions Compliance

The European Commission announced that it has launched a helpdesk to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in complying with the complex landscape of financial sanctions regimes.

The EU has over 40 sanctions regimes globally, and the new EU Sanctions Helpdesk now offers a comprehensive range of services designed to help SMEs comply with these measures. The Helpdesk aims to provide personalized support to EU SMEs performing sanctions due diligence checks, and it will manage a dedicated website featuring sanctions-related information, country-specific guidance, events, tips, lessons learned, and more.
