EU Sanctions IRGC-SSJO for Destabilizing Activities in Middle East, Red Sea Region

The Council of the EU adopted Council Implementing Regulation (EU) 2024/1793 which imposes additional sanctions on Iran for its destabilizing activities in the Middle East and Red Sea region.

The regulation condemns Iran’s attack against Israel as well as the country’s support of Russia’s war against Ukraine.

Accordingly, the latest EU regulation sanctions the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Research and Self-Sufficiency Jihad Organization in light of such state-sponsored activities.

EU Continues Sanctions Related to Illegal Occupation of Ukraine
