EU Sanctions Extremist West Bank Settlers for Human Rights Violations

The Council of the European Union adopted Council Implementing Regulation (EU) 2024/1960 to amend restrictive measures against human rights violators.

The amended regulation represents the EU’s concerns over increased violence against Palestinians by extremist settlers in the West Bank. In light of the heightened violence, the EU sanctioned five individuals and three entities.

EU Continues Sanctions Related to Illegal Occupation of Ukraine
