EU Removes One Entry from ISIL, Al-Qaida Sanctions List

The European Commission adopted Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2024/2208 which amends restrictive measures imposed on persons associated with ISIL (Da’esh) and al-Qaida.

Specifically, the EU incorporated the Aug. 23, 2024, decision by the United Nations Security Council to remove one entry from the sanctions list.
