The Council of the European Union adopted Council Decision (CFSP) 2024/2702concerning sanctions against Niger.

Specifically, the EU extended the sanctions regime concerning the country to Oct. 24, 2025.

The EU underscored that the listed persons continue to be subject to asset freeze and travel ban restrictions.
