EU Extends Sanctions Against Certain Moldovan Leadership for Another Year

The Council of the European Union announced its decision to extend sanctions against the leadership of the Transnistrian region of the Republic of Moldova.

Specifically, the EU adopted Council Decision (CFSP) 2024/2782 to extend restrictive measures for another year, until Oct. 31, 2025.
