EU Designates Six Individuals Under Democratic Republic of the Congo Sanctions Regime

The Council of the European Union adopted Council Implementing Regulation (EU) 2024/1271 to amend restrictive measures against the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

The amended regulation incorporates the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) Committee’s decision of Feb. 20, 2024, where the Committee added six individuals to the sanctions list. The UNSC also amended two entries under its sanctions list.
