EU Designates Six Individuals, Three Entities for Enabling Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ)

The Council of the European Union adopted Implementing Regulation (EU) 2024/1838 which amends the EU’s sanctions on Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ).

The final regulation was amended by adding six persons and three entities to the sanctions list. The entries were designated due to their financing of Hamas and PIJ, two terrorist organizations, and for enabling the groups’ violent acts.
