EU Amends Entry Under ISIL, Al-Qaida Sanctions List

The European Commission adopted Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2024/1301 to amend sanctions imposed against ISIL (Da’esh) and al-Qaida.

The amended final regulation updates the EU’s sanctions list to reflect the latest United Nations Security Council decision of April 25, 2024. Specifically, the regulation amends one entry under the sanctions regime. The amended entry remains subject to sanctions measures including asset freeze restrictions.
